The Baltic’s largest travel trade fair, “Balttour 2026,” is fast approaching. From February 6 to 8, the Kipsala International Exhibition Centre will host tourism professionals, businesses, and organizations from around the world.

The "Creative Beehives of Vidzeme" (Vidzemes Radošie stropi) are taking shape in the Coachman's House (Kučieru namiņš) in Cēsis – a new gathering place for creative minds from all over the Vidzeme region.

The Vidzeme Creative Beehives call upon growth-oriented companies to participate in the international experience economy development program "Tourism Through Experience." The program aims to support approximately 80 new, growth-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Estonia, Latvia, and Finland, primarily within the hospitality and creative industry sectors.

On November 28th, the annual Vidzeme Tourism Conference took place at the National Botanic Garden in Salaspils, bringing together tourism professionals, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts from all over Latvia.

On July 5th, a Multiplier Event was held to disseminate the results of the project “Digital Employer Engagement and Learning in Hospitality and Tourism during the Pandemic and Other Crisis Situations” (DEELforHOST). The event took place at Suntaži Station and featured a pilot workshop for a new digital engagement platform, designed for hotel and tourism industry professionals, as well as higher education institutions and students.
