The Vidzeme Tourism Cooperation Network presented the region's diverse and sustainable tourism offerings at the international exhibition Tourest 2026.

On February 7, at the “Balttour 2026” exhibition, a presentation and networking event for Tourism Cooperation Networks' research was held, where a study on the Vidzeme Tourism Cooperation Network project was presented, offering insights into international market potential, sustainability factors, and the latest trends in tourism product development.

At the "Balttour 2026" trade fair, the Vidzeme Tourism Cooperation Network presented four new tourism products: Vidzeme Coastal Flavours, Birdwatching, "Bānītis Land," and Green Railways. Participation in the exhibition drew significant visitor interest, fostered new cooperation contacts, and highlighted Vidzeme's diverse and authentic tourism offerings for both local and international audiences.

At the Baltic’s largest travel trade fair, "Balttour 2026," the Vidzeme Tourism Association will showcase four new tourism products, inviting visitors on an exciting journey through the flavors of the Vidzeme coast, birdwatching, the "Bānītis" Heritage Railway land, and the Green Railways. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet regional representatives and entrepreneurs, as well as discover tailored offers for various audiences firsthand.

This week, Madrid will once again become the epicenter of global tourism as it hosts the FITUR 2026 International Tourism Trade Fair. Organized by IFEMA MADRID, the event will take place from January 21st to 25th.
