On February 7, as part of the international tourism exhibition “Balttour 2026”, the BT1 conference hall hosted the Presentation of Tourism Cooperation Network Project Research Results and Networking Event, organized by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) for tourism cooperation networks and their members.
The event gathered industry professionals, researchers, and tourism developers to foster experience exchange, strengthen cooperation, and acquire new knowledge in tourism product development and promotion.
Research Presentations
Dr.oec. Ēriks Lingebērziņš, Dr.oec. Linda Medne, and PhD Agita Doniņa presented research on the international market potential, target audiences, and sustainability factors of Vidzeme and Zemgale tourism cooperation networks. The presentations provided insights into how regional tourism products can expand their international presence and attract new travelers.

The event provided a platform for both scientific analysis and practical experience exchange, fostering cooperation among researchers, tourism professionals, and regional tourism business communities.
