Upholding fine traditions and looking back at the 2023 tourism season in Vidzeme, the Vidzeme Tourism Association (VTA), in cooperation with the Tourism Department of the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA), gathered tourism industry professionals at the end of the autumn season on November 28th for the annual Vidzeme Tourism Conference. This year, the event took place in the Ādaži Municipality, at the Carnikava Community Center "Ozolaine."

There is still time until June 1st to apply for the European Cultural Tourism Network (ECTN) Awards.

Braving the snow and wind in anticipation of spring and summer, tourism and creative industry professionals gathered at Castle Square (Pils laukums) in Cēsis on February 5th to introduce visitors of the Vidzeme Tourism Information Market to the news and offers of the 2022 tourism season.

In December 2021, in cooperation with the Tourism Department of the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA), participants had the opportunity to attend the Vidzeme Tourism Conference in Cesvaine and join an experience exchange trip, during which we explored best practice examples from the Vidzeme Highland.

On September 29, 2022, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development held the closing event for the European Union Structural and Investment Funds Interreg programmes of the 2014–2020 period at the Museum of the History of Riga and Navigation.
