The museum is located in the restored manor house of Dunte Manor. It is a museum – a dream, where joy and wit reside. The museum grounds feature the largest wooden attraction ship in the Baltic. The permanent historical exhibition “Munchausen’s World” offers visitors a chance to get to know the baron as Prince Anton Ulrich’s page in the Ukrainian steppes and at the Russian court, as an army officer, a loving husband, a passionate hunter, and an enthusiastic storyteller – a person who lives life to the fullest while maintaining the ability to laugh at himself and others, seeing a world that is different.

On the second floor of the museum, you will find the largest collection of wax figures in Latvia, titled “Outstanding Figures in Latvian History.” Meanwhile, beer lovers will be delighted by the displayed collection of beer mugs, with over 2,000 beer mugs from 50 countries around the world. Souvenirs are also available.
