The Baltic Coastal Hiking Route (Jūrtaka) is a hiking trail along the Baltic Sea coast, which is part of the European long-distance path E9. It leads from Nida in Lithuania to Tallinn in Estonia, allowing travelers to discover coastal nature, culture, and ever-changing maritime landscapes.
Several of the most biodiverse and scenic sections of the Baltic Coastal Hiking Route are located right on the Vidzeme coast—with breathtaking sunsets, vast sandy beaches, stony shores, dune landscapes, bird-watching spots, and quiet seaside fishing villages. This part of the route is particularly suited for both experienced hikers and travelers seeking a peaceful, nature-based coastal adventure.
