To mitigate the impact of the pandemic on cultural tourism, the CHRISTA project has been extended until September 2022.
In 2022, CHRISTA project partners will continue their work to develop cultural tourism through the use of digital tools. Emphasis will be placed on the recovery of European tourism, as well as the promotion of intangible heritage, industrial heritage, interpretation, and innovation/digitalization policies (i.e., the core focuses of CHRISTA) to ensure sustainable and responsible tourism development.
The aforementioned goals will be achieved through webinars where project partners will share their experiences and best practice examples. The first webinar has already taken place, with the main theme: Best practice examples for limiting the spread of coronavirus at cultural heritage sites and events.
