About the company
Vienkoču Park is located in the Gauja National Park, in the Līgatne Municipality, next to the Līgatne River, and covers an area of 9.25 hectares. The main concept of the park is based on promoting woodcraft and single-log products. The foundation for the park’s creation is rooted in the use of natural materials to the fullest extent possible.
Vienkoču Park consists of several zones: the museum area, scenic environment, untouched nature, classical garden, modern garden, and the agricultural zone. Since these zones are combined into one area and border each other, one of the most important tasks is to ensure they do not compete with each other but instead complement one another. In most cases, the zones transition seamlessly from one to the other, without clear boundaries. While walking along the trails, visitors can admire various wooden sculptures. These include different animals, characters from fairy tales and legends, as well as objects inspired by historical sources.
