About the company
Līgatne Wine Cellar offers the opportunity to taste and purchase berry and fruit wines. The berries are grown and harvested in the Gauja National Park area.
The wines are made from fruits and berries during the season when they ripen, through a natural fermentation process. Among the traditional wines are apple and currant-blackcurrant wines. The largest berry used for wine production is the pumpkin wine. There will also be dandelion wine, lilac flower wine, and many others.
We offer more than ten different wines, with the selection changing depending on the ripening time of the fruits.
